Empowering People Transforming Lives

Transforming Lives

Technology was designed to enhance our lives, but instead it’s become a trap for millions.

Our mission at Nostos is to empower you to live your best life, free from tech addiction.

1 in 4 Americans are affected by tech addiction

A Rapidly Growing Problem

About 80 million people struggle with a tech addiction. From endless scrolling and betting apps, to porn and gaming. These “digital drugs” are eroding our health, productivity, and human connection.

The Impact

Common Doesn’t Mean Harmless

Tech addiction steals sleep, fuels anxiety and depression, strains relationships, all while resulting in thousands of lost hours every year—time that could fuel work, study, or simply being present with those we love.

If technology gets in the way of a healthy life, it's a problem worth solving.

Our Approach

We believe the best way to overcome any addiction is together. So Nostos centers on small, expert-led groups. Our Integrative Therapeutic Coaching (ITC) method blends evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT) with forward-looking coaching, pairing practical tools with peer momentum.

Our Team

We know how it feels -

wanting to stop, but continually getting pulled back in.

Our motivation for building Nostos draws from our deeply personal experiences, combined with our professional expertise as clinicians, researchers, and (ironically) technologists.

In Greek mythology, nostos refers to the return, or homecoming journey, of a hero. Our mission is to empower every hero to live their best life, free from tech addiction.

We love curiosity

Here are the most frequently asked questions.

Nostos is an ancient Greek word meaning “a hero’s return home after a long journey.” We chose it because we believe everyone deserves the chance to come home to themselves—to rediscover balance, purpose, and connection so they can live their best life, free from addiction.

No. Nostos is fully self-funded. We have no outside investors or corporate ownership. That means no external influence on how we serve our heroes—our only focus is helping you achieve lasting, positive change beyond your tech addiction.

We offer small, supportive virtual group programs—expert-led and evidence-based—to help you break your tech addiction and reclaim your life.
